Depict production diary

10/10/2012: We had our storyboard checked to make sure there was no problems with it. We did a recce to make sure we knew where we where shooting. This was an easy process as we had a rough idea of where we where shooting beforehand.

09/10/2012: Today we finished our storyboard and finalised any ideas. This process went well because each member of our group took part. We did this by taking it in turns.

04/10/2012: We wrote up our short film sypnosis and finalised any ideas. We also began discussing which props we needed for the film. Once we have decided on what props are needed a list we be made of these props.
Synopsis

A guy in a suit walks into a DVD store on a quest for a special movie but doesn’t seem to be having much luck with it. Meanwhile in the background a dodgy deal is going down which will obviously won’t end well. During all of this a first live pilot episode to a new cooking show is on TV in the corner of the room. The film opens with the guy in the suit walking into the store and goes up to the clerk and asks for a specific movie but they don’t have it so the clerk gives other suggestions. In the corner there’s a deal going on between two men and a briefcase. In the other corner there’s a new cooking show on TV that the film cuts to so you are in the studio where it’s being broadcasted. The guy in a suit is losing his patience with the clerk and the dealers are losing patience with each other but the TV show seems to be going well. The dealers in the corner get into a fight and one shoots the other. After a brief moment of silence the shooter freaks out and starts screaming and balling about it and leaves. The guy in the suit looks at the clerk and just accepts what the clerk is holding. The show on TV then ends.
